Seinfeld Trivia Game

Back in the late 1980s, a very popular comedy show, by the name of “Seinfeld” was broadcast, and this Seinfeld Trivia Game takes players back to that extremely popular sitcom to the most popular characters.  The player who remembers all the situations that the neurotic characters, Jerry, George, Elaine, and Kramer ended up in, and all the antics they came up with as a solution to get them out of trouble, is going to be the player who is going to win the game.

The Show

When the show started it centered around Jerry Seinfeld who stars as the comedian in the show – basically himself.  Jerry and his friends Elaine and George, along with one of the most popular characters, Kramer, go through their everyday life and end up in situations that just about everyone watching can identify with and understand.  The characters are quite eccentric, and they end up in some of the most unique situations  Some of the episodes such as “The Ex-Girlfriend”, “The Robbery”, “The Heart Attack”, “The Chinese Restaurant” and so many others kept viewers laughing from the onset of the show in 1989 until the final episode in 1998.

The Game

The Seinfeld Trivia Game is quite easy for players who were fans of the show for the 10 years that the show ran, but for those who only watched the show occasionally, they can be easily beaten.  The players move around the board and answer questions about a situation, a character, or a quote from the show.  The kit includes 149 cards that contain nearly 300 questions each, the board, and tokens for each player.  The cards are also divided into levels of difficulty so that the true Seinfeld-aficionados can be challenged, and the players who occasionally watched the show also have a chance to progress through the board and win.

There are some 3000 questions on the characters in the show, from such trivial items as “How much did Elaine offer Jerry to kill a couple of cats?”, or “What was Jerry’s address?”, or “Why did Jerry break up with Margaret?”.  Of course players can always guess the answers if they didn’t watch the show, but, like the traditional Trivial Pursuits game, even getting the wrong answer can start a hilarious discussion of the topic.

Playing the Game

As players race around the board, they can visit the diner, or Jerry’s apartment, or any number of places that were wildly popular on the show.  To begin the game, players will go to Monk’s diner and try to guess the quote on the card, and of course the objective is to be the first person to collect the card with the soup container on it and win the game.

Getting the Game

When the Seinfeld Trivia Game is set down on the table for game night, players who loved the show will have a blast, and players who rarely watched it will still have fun trying to guess the answers.  This game is a lot of fun for the folks who enjoyed Seinfeld’s show.
